Solander: Passing Mt. Satu

On March 20, 2012, Swedish indie-folk/pop trio Solander will release Passing Mt. Satu, an album that they say “searches for higher grounds and deeper forests to explore.” A big fan of this band, and an even bigger one after seeing them live recently, I’m very impressed by their elegant genre-fusing; their music is, at once, ethereal pop and grounded, earthy folk. In every song, they build a fluid, dreamy atmosphere and then manage to tether it with percussive, indie-rock confidence. I can’t get enough.

Ok, this album is a keeper, so after you stream the whole thing, go get it for real.  Trust.
