New York-based composer, singer and violinist Kishi Bashi will release his solo album / orchestral project 151a on April 10, 2012 via Joyful Noise Recordings. Having collaborated with the likes of Of Montreal, Regina Spektor, and Sondre Lerche, Kishi is finally garnering national attention under his own name (several friends commented that he put on one of the best shows at this year’s SXSW.)
