Dot Hacker: Dot Hacker (EP)

Los Angeles-based Dot Hacker will release their debut EP on February 21, 2012— a majestic, goth and lushly futuristic rock teaser album that I’ve managed to pause long enough to write this post. 

Dot Hacket is a comprised of friends Josh Klinghoffer, Clint Walsh, Eric Gardner and Jonathan Hischke, all established musicians who have collectively toured with Beck, Gnarls Barkley, PJ Harvey, Charlotte Gainsbourg, The Butthole Surfers and Broken Bells. Klinghoffer, the band’s lead vocalist, also currently plays guitar in The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
