Anya Marina: Felony Flats

Portland-based songwriter Anya Marina, will release Felony Flats (Atlantic) on March 13, 2012, a followup to the critically lauded SLOW & STEADY SEDUCTION: PHASE II. Anya rose to fame when her cover of T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” was included on a 2009 episode of Gossip Girl, later spending nearly 2 weeks atop iTunes’ “Top Alternative Songs” chart. Shortly after, her video for “Whatever You Like” earned close to 2.5 million views. 

Anya says of her new album:

“If albums are like children, this one is my favorite (don’t tell the others),” Anya Marina admits. “It’s the one I put the most heart and soul into. It’s the one that taught me the most about myself, and it’s the one that looks most like me.”
