Denison Witmer: The Ones Who Wait

Philadelphia-based indie-folk songwriter Denison Witmer will release his ninth album The Ones Who Wait on March 6th, and I must say, gushingly, this is my favorite album of his. I first heard “Light On My Face” and it was nearly 2 hours before I stopped it’s rotation and allowed myself to move onto another track. It’s a staggeringly poetic song about gratitude, loving reget and a longing goodbye. 

Allow yourself a good hour to sit with this one. It a serious stunner.
